ABOUT US
Kensington and Chelsea Parents and Carers Champion Network is a partnership between the SPACE, the Harrow Club and RBKC in Kensington and Chelsea, London. We aim to create a community where young people can thrive and remain safe by providing support and training to parents and carers. We offer comprehensive online training programs for mental health and therapeutic support, as well as a Violence Reduction Parent Champion program. The program is delivered by trained parents who act as champions and provide information about local family services. We have set up a non-judgmental and trusted place-based network for parents and carers who may face hurdles accessing statutory services. We recruit and train parents to support other parents, intervene at an early stage, and connect families to support agencies. The network will also provide practical support such as emergency food parcels, clothing, and mental health referrals.
