Our Programme
Become a Champion!​

Parent Champions are parent volunteers who give a few hours a week to talk to other parents about the local services available to families. Champions help marginalised or isolated parents who miss out on vital information about how to access local family services.
The Parent Champions model is delivered by parents for parents
Peer Support for parents and carers
Our parents/carers champions run monthly coffee mornings with parents. The sessions take place at our Freston Road Hub where parenst can be paired with a champion on one-to-one support or in a group.

Cost Of Living Support

​Cooking sessions as well as food and clothing distribution takes places during half term throughout 20232024.

Information and Support (SEND)
​
By joining the programme, parents and carers in Kensington and Chelsea will gain knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies, SEND referral process as well as understanding support for children with behavioural issues, trauma informed training.

Engagement

The programme is led by parents and carers. We engage with them during our coffee mornings or via online platforms. Thsi helps us be responsive and adapt service swhen required. We are currently working with parents to increase the provision of physical activitis for children with SEND
Community Events
​
​There will be 2 community events in 2023-2024 for parents and carers in Kensington and Chelsea, an opporuntiy to find out more about local services. Parents and Carers and encouraged to join to help indetify key themes, aera of convcerns to be featured in community events
